Brazilian Fortifications Award - DFB, established in 1999 by Peter Sirzanink - PP5SZ is offered to amateurs and SWL who have worked/heard Brazilians Fortifications, as follows: All bands and modes, including SWL. The GCR list should also include Fortifications number or name. Basic award: 10 Fortifications. Endorsements: for each 5 new fortifications. The Award and Endorsement is free, and will be "scanned" and sent via internet on (.pdf) format to applicant's personal e_mail. The option of sending via internet, is to encourage requests, avoiding the difficulties of remittance of money, and as well aspossible damages to the award on the path by mail.
