Brazilian Fortifications Award - DFB, established in 1999 by Peter Sirzanink - PP5SZ is offered to amateurs
and SWL who have worked/heard Brazilians Fortifications, as follows:
1) Will be accepted contacts / listenings for operations in Fortifications, without date restriction, in the bands
and modes approved for amateur radio in Brazil, but no cross-band contacts;
1.1) List of valids Fortifications
2 - Will be added as a contact the Fortification where the applicant's award has carried out the operation, since
recognized as valid for the DFB.
3) It is not necessary send the QSLs. Just a GCR list (General Certification Rule) certified by an official
or independent Radio Amateur Association, or two amateur, signing that QSL were showed;
3.1) The GCR can be sent via e_mail, however, must contain the amateurs' e_mail who signed the GCR;
3.2) If not possible send a GCR, please send a scanned copy or photocopy of the QSLs. NOT send the original cards.
4) The award may be required in the following categories, since the Fortifications have been validated (coded):
- Basic: 05 Fortifications;
- Endorsements for every 05 new Fortifications.
- Will be included in the List of Honor (HR) upon completion of 50 Fortifications;
5) The Award is free, and will be "scanned" and sent via internet on (.pdf) format to applicant's personal
e_mail;
6) Endorsements: a new diploma will be sent free, at each new endorsement (15, 20, 25, 30 .... new Fortifications);
OBS.: The option of sending via internet, is to encourage requests, avoiding the difficulties of remittance
of money, and as well as possible damages to the award on the path by mail.
7) The coordination of the DFH is currently under the responsibility of PS7AB - Rony.
